Yesterday, we photographed 148 people for Portrait of Kitchener in just over two hours. And do you know what? We could have done even more if the traffic had been there to support it. I just put the gear we’re using to make the portraits on a bathroom scale: 40kg (88lbs). This includes case, camera, lights, stands, batteries (heavy!), clipboards, forms, pens, wires, misc stuff …. and the posing stool. Everything except the stool fits in a rolling hard case originally intended for golf clubs, and everything including the stool can easily be tossed into the back...
